Help identifying a show?

This photo was in a Sliders magazine article years and years ago. It's certainly *not* from Sliders; any idea what it may be from?

Could be actors from an unaired pilot or test footage.. actor changes often happen between pilot episodes and final aired pilots that sometimes have cast and whole premise changes.

Although the guy on the left looks awfully like a Ferris Bueller clone ;)

The article text says it's supposed to be O'Connell and Derricks. It's definitely the wrong photo. Do you have the rest of the article or know what magazine it's from? It's possible the photo got flipped with another photo elsewhere in the magazine.

The magazine was from 1995, so it may be from a show from 1995. However, the two are sitting in front of a TV with their childhood selves on the screen. So the pic might have been meant to accompany a nostalgia piece or a promo for a reunion show.

Maybe it's their twins from a parallel dimension? It's certainly strange. :rommie:

Yeah, the article seems to be talking about parallel universes. Maybe the article is trying to make a point that these are the character versions from a parallel universe...

Maybe its a photo of O'Connell and Derricks' stand-ins that got used by mistake?

The kids on the tv screen almost look like one of those fake "shows within a show". Maybe it was some sitcom premise where "former" child stars have to get back together for some reason and learn to live with each other?

Yeah, that guy is wrong. That is NOT Cleavant Derricks.

The big clue here is that the article talks about the pilot "which aired march 22". So the article came out in the same year as the pilot. Five years before Robert Floyd would play Quinn in the fifth season.

ETA: being able to see the author and title of the article, I found this:

Text of the complete article and an image of the magazine cover it's from. Sc-Fi Entertainment magazine, June 1995. Unfortunately, my google foo was unable to find a copy of the magazine online, though you can find it for sale on ebay and other sites.

How about writing the publisher and asking.

Sometimes I'm tempted to do that with publications that have been long out of print, just to see what happens.
