Okay, for the last couple of days I've had the intro (at least I think it's the intro) of a ska or ska-like song stuck in my head. Unfortunately, I can't remember the rest of it, or even who performed it or the name of the song. I think I remember it from the early 1990s from when I was in college.
I've written down what I remember, and it was only horns (trombone & trumpet, maybe sax), with the drums playing along. I'm not sure if I got the drum part right (surprising since I *play* drums!), but it should be close. The horn part is only relative in pitch, and it could be a bit off since they're playing chords, but this is what I hear in my head. If there were any guitars playing, I don't remember it, but they could be playing an offbeat note.
As you can see, it's repeated twice, and then you go into the rest of the song, but I'm getting stuck there. My Google-fu and YouTube-fu have failed me. (Did come across many cool ska songs, though!) Can anyone help me identify this?!??
