Help: Box-set with Portuguese dubbing

Reeborg

I am presently looking for star trek dvd box sets (region 1?) with Portuguese (Brazilian) dubbing and subtitles.

Hereby I consider the collective sets to be interesting. However the reviews give sometimes different answers whether Portuguese audio is included or not. Other languages would be welcome and should be specified. Would you please state from your own knowledge (since you have the set or have directly seen it) which box sets I could purchase? I would normally buy it on "amazon.com". If you have another possibility to order and ship it to Europe, please indicate. Thanks in advance for your help.

P.S.: Could this be shifted to general trek???

I have no knowledge of Portuguese dialog, but if you are looking for TNG I wouldn't buy anything right now. With CBS just starting the remastering process I would wait for the Blu Ray releases over the next couple years. There is no reason to buy the sets on DVD today when they will be out of date almost immediately.

It does exist in Brazilian Portuguese. I purchased a box set a few years ago in Brazil on a visit, unfortunately the Portuguese soundtrack wasn't in stereo. The voice actors hired are quite good.

Since I don't know what region 1 refers to, I could tell you about that.

:)

Region1 is the DVD region ("zone") for US and Canada. South America is a different one I think. I refered to region 1 since this is what you get at amazon.com. Do you know of a web site where you can purchase securely DVDs from Brazil? In principle I don't mind about a different DVD zone/region code.
