Healing time of ribs...

Got mugged in 2000 and had 3 ribs broken, cracked sternum too. Had to brace my ribs with a pillow to cough. It was at least 2 months before I wasn't touch-sensitive. It was a year before I could wear seatbelts without it um, "annoying" me. 2 years before I could sleep comfortably on that side. even today I sometimes get "shadow pain". On the flip side vics make me sick to my stomach and Demerol gave me screaming nightmares(the giant spider-things were the worst! *shudder* ) so it was extra strength ibuprofen and Tylenol for me.

No. I don't post like this on purpose. I'm just worrying, that's all. Just worrying of his well-being, that's all. I know that Aleve is not the same as vicodine.

No I meant with all the mistakes and such. It makes it very hard to read.

He is deaf, so technically, spoken and typed english is his second language. His posting style reflects that.
There are also some, shall we say, peculiarities to the deaf understanding of the world that maybe causing some problems for SupremeAdmiral. A deaf person thinking that all are in serious danger of addiction and death from a Vicodin prescription because it happened to Michael Jackson isn't outside the realm of believability.

Hey SA maybe you should put something in you're signature line reflecting your disability. That way your typing style might not be questioned in every thread you post in.
Were he to do that, it would definitely help with any ASL grammar that creeps into his posts, however, one would have to make that connection or have an understanding of the deaf view of the world for it to make any sense.
