I'm going to be in DC the second week in November and I'm looking for fun things to do within walking distance of the GAO. I plan on going to the National Air Museum (its a mile walk, but Ill live). Probably tour the capital as well.
Anyone have any good things in that area to tour or make sure I see. It's not my first time to DC, but I'm not well versed in the area.
It's not like they wear bright neon signs that say "hooker."
Good luck. The most Chinese thing in Chinatown is the translation on the Starbucks sign.I am certainly in china town - can't wait to try out some authentic THAI and Chinese.

His point is if you want authentic Chinese experience, don't go to Chinatown. I had a prof who was orignally from China. He told me Chinatown here in DC was crap. Besides, it is turning into a Times Square wannabe.Good luck. Tickets for the game last night were going for $85.00. I didn't do that.
