Headcanons for Alien/Planets of the Week/

So I was thinking, what lore would you create for one off alien races, planets or civilizations in Star Trek? It could be anything, flora and fauna of a planet, more fleshed culture or history of a species, technology advancements, etc. Whatever you thought of to give a one off race or planet more depth.
