Ok, still hate the "actress" playing the Queen. She's terrible.
LOVED Bill and Sam. I see a lot of potential there.
Tara's mother has got to go.
I thought Hoyt was hot before, but he's gotten way better. Speaking of, listening to the actor who plays Jason, before the show ... rawr. Nice Aussie accent.

I wish I could afford HBO. 
I liked it better on a second viewing. Still seemed some what disjointed but I am used to that now. I liked how the minisodes worked into the story.

You have a computer so there are other ways...
1 - Let's not even go there.
2 - HBO hunted down those people who shared the original pilot (different actress playing Tara, appearances of other characters who haven't quite been introduced even now) and prosecuted them. This is not the BBC. HBO is serious about protecting their property. Even discussing it's a bad idea.

so are the werewolves gonna be all drooling thugs on this show? Im getting an Underworld's lycans vibe from the guys who kidnapped Bill. If that's the case, Id rather them had been man/wolf hybrids(like in Underworld) then actual wolves. Mostly b/c I think wolves are such beautiful and majestic creatures that it seems jarring to me to go from some some dumb lunk to a sleek primal predator.

I'll be seeing this next spring or whenever season 3 is on dvd, since I no longer get HBO.
This was my first episode of True Blood. I haven't had HBO in years, but finally re-subscribed a few months ago. It was...interesting, to say the least. 
I'll probably check it out again next week, just for the heck of it.

Even as a straight guy, I thought the Bill/Sam scene was awesome. Jason with the girls was funny, especially when he told them what he saw.
Outstanding episode IMO, kicked off S3 on a high note and a great welcome back after so many months away.

hmm u should probably catch up on the other 2 seasons. Tara just lost Eggs. She's overreacting a bit much. She tends to do that.
You really need to start from the pilot, that way you see how awesome Tara is and you'll understand her a lot better.
