From TV.com:

Victor Hesse returns to Hawaii and Steve discovers that he has another connection to the island through a local criminal. Chin finds himself the victim of Victor's games when he is taken hostage and has a bomb strapped to him.

Hana 'a'a Makehewa: Hawaiian for, near as I can tell, "to do a brave act, uselessly." CBS says it means "Desperate Measures."

I knew Hesse had Wo Fat as a visitor at the end before the reveal. It was the only logical story point.

Guess so though I thought a) we weren't actually going to see who it was (probably a bit too much of a cliche) then that it might of been the dirty cop who landed Chin Ho in the shit.

It's too bad it wasn't David Boreanaz. Not that I ever took him too seriously but after Iron Chef I think I lost all respect for Mark Dacascos. I was waiting for him to chop the air and yell "Allez Cuisine!".

Wow..pretty impressive.

He's definitely my favorite character on the show. Love how he points out of all of Steve Garrett's faults...wish the writers would notice that too, and take the focus off of him.

re: this episode
I mean, nice that we get to know more about Chin Ho, but kinda annoyed that he gets the Checkov treatment -- placed as a victim (i.e. with a bomb about to go off). i would like for once for Steve Garrett to be in need of Chin Ho's help.

So now is part of the drama the team trying to get back $10 million?

Probably not the best idea to keep 28 million dollars in loose cash in an evidence room. What else is in there? The crown jewels? Picasso paintings from museum heists?
