From TV.com:

Hawaii Five-0 is up against Internal Affairs, dirty cops and a powerful cocaine cartel when they investigate the murder of Danny's Honolulu P.D. ex-partner found dead at a Hawaiian luau.

Mana'o: Hawaiian for think/ponder/consider

Personally, I think it's about time Daniel Dae Kim got to take his shirt off like the rest of the cast has at some point.

Hah, Bing it!

That was right up there with the establishing shot of the Camero moving instead of Horatio's Humvee convoy.

Bad part, the enhanced interogation is back. Doesn't anyone in the city notice a car speading with a man on the hood and call 911?

Jason Scott Lee, Bronson Pinchot and the return of Will Yun Lee all in one episode. Good guest cast. I totally forgot Jason Scott Lee even existed. He really dropped off the face of the earth.

You're watching a show about a task force that has COMPLETE immunity to do whatever they want ( at THAT ever happening in real life) and complaining about enhanced interrogation techniques? That's like watching Chuck and complaining how often Casey and Sarah (two trained spies) are saved by Chuck (who was basically untrained up to last season).

"Enhanced Interrogation" has been part of the cop-show genere forever. We shouldn't accept these techniques in real-life, no. But here we are talking about a show and characters who we, the viewer, have the advantage of knowing they're right and they're always right.

Wow, what a waste of Jason Scott Lee. He would have made a great regular.

And he would have been the only real Hawaiian if he was a part of the cast.

With the reveal of the mole I thought it would be someone bigger and not someone like Jason Scott Lee.

A potential long running arc solved last night.

I rated this episode excellent since it feels like it really stepped up its game - finally. Caan, as usual, steals the show. Where the hell did this guy come from? (excluding James Caan, his father, of course ;) ) His 'Danno' has become increasingly interesting week after week but particularly in this ep. So I guess nu5-0's schtick is its 'enhanced interrigation of-the-week' sequences  Yes, they are largely over the top outrageous, but that doesn't mean they aren't good tv fun. Nice resolution to Chin's (tragic) backstory in this ep too.

I wouldn't say they resolved Chin's back story. It's not like anyone in Internal Affairs came out and said "we were wrong" regarding the allegations against him.

So what, it was fun!

This was by far the best episode to date, and kudos to the writers for not falling into the old cop show cliché of the bad guy being an Internal Affairs guy who's secretly on the take.

Yeah, I totally expected that the IA guy was dirty. Glad to see it wasn't as that's such a cliche. And CSI Miami pulled that last season.
