Leila Kalomi played in Season 1 of The Orginal Series in the episode "This Side Of Paradise". Its a great episode,its one of my favorites. She was in love with Spock, but Spock couldn't return the afection as he has no emotions as he says. So the only way for her to get Spock was by the Spores that was in the flower plants. If you watch the episode you know what I mean.

While part of me misses the old painted covers of the 80's, as long as the cover actually uniquely reflects the book itself I'm very pleased. The photo-based covers over the past few years have been great, because they've been using photoshop as their "painting tool" (as opposed to, say, the covers for the first two Voyager relaunch books or the Janus Gate trilogy, which were just publicity stills).

I can't wait till the book comes out. I'm thinking of buying it when it comes out. I'm wanting to know what happend between Kirk and Carol Marcus way before Kirk became Captain of the Enterprise. I also want to know the story behind Spock and Leia Kalomi as well. I just want to know what all happend before the series begain. Anyways I do like the cover art for the book, I think its beautiful.
