Other than the Federation Torpedo Casing, have they shown the Torpedo Casings of other Major Alien species in Star Trek? I know in ST:VOY, there was the episode "War Head" that focused on the Long Range Torpedo of the Druoda: http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Series_5_long-range_tactical_armor_unit But other than them, I can't remember them ever showing the Torpedoes Casings of other Alien species
We saw (the tip of) a Jem'Hadar torpedo up close in "Starship Down", but that's pretty much it. http://ds9.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/4x07/starshipdown_474.jpg Timo Saloniemi
Possibly. But it would seem to fall in the category of "casings from the Federation", rather than be an alien design. Or at least Soran fired his first starkiller from a Federation laboratory, which was full of Federation probe casings of assorted designs (variants of the Starfleet torpedo casing prop, some sonobuoys). Would Soran's second starkiller be an alien design? I mean, Soran was an alien. But being a refugee, he didn't come equipped with alien accessories: he made use of Federation and Klingon technology. The rocket fired from Veridian would have to be Alpha Quadrant tech; would it be non-Federation tech? (Klingon, perhaps, or Romulan, as supplied by the Duras sisters?) The interface had alien language and symbology. But it wasn't built on Soran's native El-Auria. Timo Saloniemi
Been a while since I've seen it, but what about that experimental Cardie missile from Dreadnought...does that count?
As a "torpedo casing"? Umm... If that thing counts, then it might well count twice. Or a thousand times. Timo Saloniemi
