Have the Arrow-verse shows had a budget cut this season?

Now I know they've never been had movie quality effects but, to my eyes anyway, they've been noticeably poorer so far this season. I've just finished watching this week's 'Batwoman' and it has some really bad green screen and CGI explosions that looked like they'd be more at home in one of The Asylum's mockbusters.

Hopefully they're just penny-pinching now to make Crisis look better.

I'm sure that Crisis is going to be more expensive than the usual crossover so they're probably just saving up.

Yep - That is probably the case.

Also, actors become more expensive the longer shows run, so a series can definitely suffer a diminished production and effects budget without an overall decrease in funds.
