Hasn't been asked in a while: Favorite DS9 Opening Theme

Can't say I noticed such a big difference, but I think I liked the theme more when they got the Defiant, I think they got a new theme then?
 
For me it clearly is the first version of the main theme. The second one never sounded right to me.

Why not make a poll out of it?
 
Sorry, but my favorite is the DS9 theme with lyrics. I abstain from voting in any Poll that is stacked against the existence of such an option. That DS9 theme with lyrics was the most fun I've had from DS9's opening theme in years. :D

Someone needs to get that guy to re-sing it at whatever speed he didn't sing it at yet. That is the only proper way I could know the answer to the question in the OP.
 
I actually liked the Season 1-3 theme. It was slow, the trumpet made it more majestic, and there was just something more haunting about it.

I liked the symbolism of both themes... One represented just how alone the crew was out there... The other showed they were no longer alone...
 
My ideal theme would be the more robust beginning pre-title part of 4-7 combined with the remainder of 1-3.

My favorite as well as it fit with the original premise of DS9 as a lone base "at the edge of the final frontier."
 
I think both of them where appropriate for the time in the show they were used, and I really like them both.

However, if I have to pick, I'd pick the second theme.
