Has the Doctor been inside video games?

This is coming from a line in monk trilogy with the 12th Doctor. The episode The Pyramid At The End Of The World

He mentions that the people you shoot in video games have feelings and feel it every time they die. So did he spend time inside one of these worlds on one of his adventures that we never saw on screen I wonder?

I mean the Doctor has visited various parallel Earth's, other dimensions and things in the novels and other media besides TV so I'm thinking they did do this at one point.

Can we discuss?

I don’t remember the Doctor appearing in Free Guy

Does the Capaldi episode Extremis count? Or being stuck in the miniscope in Carnival of Monsters?

I know the miniscope was not a video game but similar idea.

I'd say that would count.

The BBC is officially launching "The Whoniverse"

This Will either be good or suck.

Blimey, that'd be an interactive version of "Carnival of Monsters". A warped version of "The Sims", only with real critters instead of heuristic-driven, pattern-matching algorithms with nominal stochastic capability. And ice cream, with those little chocolate chunks shaped like teddy bears and everything! :D
