Exactly. Dean was a surrogate father to Sam in too many ways for me to ever consider it anything but disgusting. As for Jensen and Jared, I'm afraid that Jensen is quite hetero, mswood. Sorry, dude.

I'm pretty sure they are, despite some of those in the LJ community who insist they're having a secret love affair off screen--and they really believe it. Daneel, Sandy, and now Genevieve are just beards. Jensen and Jared are really doing the deed. These girls don't want to hear anything else.
My original comment was more about the fans that slash characters. And how that has evolved into slashing people (which is another whole realm of WTF).
But I can at least understand people thinking Jared and Jensen would be a cute (read HOT) couple (not that I think they are), over those who can see Sam and Dean being a romantic couple.
I think its really weird that fans would do fan fiction over real people (but not in real situations), especially since it does involve a lot more then just the actors themselves.
