Happy International Chocolate Day!

I'm not really sure why there is an international chocolate day, but I'm not complaining!

I'm drinking chocolate milkshake at the moment and I'm about to stock up on some m&m's and whatever else takes my fancy. Anybody baking anything or treating themselves to anything chocolaty today?

For me too I'm afraid.

For today at work, we had a choice of some French and German chocolate brought back from various holidays and some thorntons chocolate/fudge/shortbread mix.

I didn't try all them, just the French one which was chocolate and praline.

I actually credit my daily dose of chocolate with helping me to stick to my diet -- as you may know, I'm on a strict diet due to juvenile diabetes -- I have 100-200 calories worth of dark chocolate every day as an evening treat to make up for the fact that I don't eat anything else with sugar or carbohydrates in it!

Not sure if coincidence, but today's also Roald Dahl Day, celebrated on the birthday of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory writer.

Then again, it's also World Sepsis Day. It can be three things.
