Taking a break from saving the galaxy (yet again) to say "MERRY CHRISTMAS, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!"
For Christmas I received four figurines (2 giraffes, a black cat and a rocking horse), a Where's the Meerkat calendar (which I was given to me so I could use it to make bookmarks out of), a small box of chocolates and most importantly $130 worth of donations to my favourite charity ShelterBox.
Of the four ShelterBoxes that I have partly contributed to and which have actually been distributed
One has gone to North Korea to help people whose homes were destroyed by a typhoon
One has gone to Bolivia to help people dispalced by flooding
Two, including one funded by last Christmas's donations, have gone to Kurdistan, Iraq to help Syrian refugees.
