To all the Fathers out there, hope you have a great day. It seems like Mothers Day is more of a big deal than Father's Day, but Fathers are equally as special.

My Dad and Mom are both coming home from a 2 week trip today so I really don't have much planned. Might be celebrating it next week. Anything special you guys are doing for Dad today?

We have Mother's day at the same time as the US I think, but our Father's day isn't until the first Sunday of September.

Happy Fathers Day to all you daddys out there!

Would just like to post a couple of pics of my dad, who was my best friend. He died in the fall of '03. I miss him every single day.


This is him in high school. He was 16 here. I love this picture of him. He's so young and full of life and hope. It also makes me a little bit sad.

Me and dad when i was pregnant with my son in '84. We couldn't decide who was "showing" more.

I went back to school at age 30. Had a husband, a baby, house to take care of, a business i operated out of the house, but i did it! It took me 4 years to get a 2 year degree but i did it. He was so proud of me. He came to my graduation. My mother didn't. She had tickets for Cher or some such shit. Not that i'm bitter.

I had a great day! Took my little girl to the local water park and then out to lunch. Then we went out to dinner with my dad!

I called my father today. Looks like he's spending the day relaxing at home. The guy has earned it.

I took a nap. With three kids (11, 7 & 2), that's the best Father's Day gift ever!
