Handbook of Exobiology Prop

In the ENT episode "Strange New Worlds", we see pages 208 and 209 of Handbook of Exobiology (in Crewman Cutlers hands). I found details on the cover, layout style, and subject from Memory Alpha, but I wondered if anyone could actually read the contents of the pages.

Here's the TrekCore blu-ray screenshot page for the beginning of the episode: https://ent.trekcore.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=190

It's the very first screenshot, which you can click to enlarge. The camera is focused so that the title and main article text on page 208 is legible if you look closely and squint. But the rest of the text is too blurry to make out. I just watched the beginning of the episode and confirmed that this screenshot is the clearest view we get.

The following discussion page at Memory Alpha has that passage from page 208, as well as the labels and other stuff and the text from page 209. I don't know where they got much of it, since it isn't legible at all from what we see in the episode!

Amazing that by the 2150's, they are still bothering with paper books, apparently. (Then again, we saw them even with those unwieldy dictionaries more than a century later in TUC .... In TNG there are books as well, but there, at least, they don't seem to be in everyday use anymore, but mostly there as antiques).

Well, Starfleet was still using clipboards and paper for geological information in “The Cage”, a century after Enterprise. So, its not a stretch to believe that books are still being used for a number of topics related to their mission.

According to MA, alot of that stuff (the unseen cover and the two full pages) used to be published online at Geoff Mandel's personal website, and that's where MA got most of their info (which they've since moved to background information, since it wasn't visible in the episode).

I can't find them online anymore, but I remember reading it years and years ago, and enjoying its take on A.E. Hodgkins and his law.
