Han Solo's Age

Lucasfilm didn't Canonically change Han's age anyway, at least as far as I can tell, making this question moot.
Canonically speaking yes you're right, but in the old canon he was younger.

So yes, they didn't change it in the current canon, but it is different from the old canon.

In the EU he was 29 in ANH, not 32

The Legends EU never mattered to Canon as much as fans thought it did.

Look at it this way: they haven't changed his age so much as taken what was a vague, pencilled in assumption and made it a lot more specific. Up until this point it hasn't really mattered to any of the stories so there was no need to tie it down to an exact number, but now they're dealing directly with his childhood so they kind of need to be more precise.

Mind you, even this could still be "wrong", since Han seemed to have been orphaned and made homeless at a young age (at least 10) so it's possible he doesn't exactly remember how old he was (the same way he apparently/possibly forgot his own surname.) Maybe he remembers a birthdate from before, but the years spent in the gutter could have been a bit of a blur and thus he may be a year or two out in his reckoning. I mean it's all fiction anyway, they still have a little wiggle room.

Isn’t 32 the age Harrison Ford was at the time?
33, and he turned 34 like three or four weeks after wrapping principle photography.
So far as I can tell, the EU date originated from an RPG sourcebook in the 90's and after that nobody really seemed to question it. Maybe they thought it would be less creepy to have a 29 year old Han lusting (but not really) after a 19 year old Leia?
