Supernatural co-stars Jared Padalecki and Genevieve Cortese married over the weekend, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
Jared Padalecki engaged to former co-star
Padalecki, 27, and Cortese, 29, wed Saturday in front of friends and family in Sun Valley, Idaho, Cortese's hometown, a show rep said.
The pair met while filming Supernatural's Season 4. Cortese now co-stars on ABC's FlashForward.

She got a HUGE raw deal from fans. I recently re-watched season 4 and she was very good in her role. IMHO she had the best line in the series ever with her "You didn't need the feather to fly. You had it in you the whole time, Dumbo!" line in the season 4 finale.



So while you guys lust after Padelecki she actually gets him. :>))

wow 27 years old and he's probably at least 2 feet taller than me. And im only 5'6". uh but yeah kudos to their marriage. I give it 3 years. (demon years) JUST KIDDING! Happy Matrinomy, J and G!
 
This must break the hearts of all the fans who wanted Padalecki and Ackles to move to Massachusetts and become a couple. :p

Well, they ARE really good with their cover stories. She could be his "beard."

I've actually read blogs and other postings from idiots suggesting that. Yes, the guys are friends off-screen, but c'mon, they are acting! They don't really fight demons, and they don't really make out with each other in the back seat of their dad's car. Unfortunately. :lol:

Some fans are in serious need of lives.

I did too but not nearly as much as people here did. That said I watch Melrose just to watch Katy Cassidy cause she's so damn hot and a good actress to boot.
 
Cortese is an abysmal actress who wasn't convincing in a single scene in Supernatural. All of her scenes totally ruined immersion in the show due to her inability to deliver a believable performance, because she is an incompetent actress.

Her marrying an actor on the show in no way changes that fact one iota.

Besides that, Padalecki can do way, way better. He's a 10/10, she's a 4/10 if one is being generous. Not that I give a care who he marries, I really, really don't. Just sayin', it's interesting that Padalecki would settle with such a lowly prize, I had always figured he'd have millions of 10/10 women to choose from.

Is it just me, or is this post riddled with feelings of the angst and jealousy of a man-child who'll never get to second base, let alone marry a woman anywhere closely as attractive as Genevieve Cortese?

Cause that's really all I'm taking away from that post.
 
^^I didn't want to be as mean or as verbose.

Supernatural fans make me feel ick in general unless they prove they are somewhat normal. It's a prejudice that I can't shake.
 
I don't know why people even bother getting married. You just know this is not going to last.

How do you know that? His parents have been married for 35 years. And shame on whoever said she's a 4/10 and that he could "do better." We have no idea what kind of person she is. I think it's darling that they got married. Genevieve Cortese is not "lowly."
