Guys - Movember?

I'm already sporting a year-round beard. I am, however, doing NoFapVember.

My roommate and I always do No Fun November. I suppose fapping could be included.

Since it's November ... and it means Movember. So are guys here growing mustache for Movember. The aim of Movember is raises money and awareness of Men's Health.

This year is the first year that I'm taking part. Should be interesting to see what it looks.

Myself and a few others at work are doing it.

I'm too busy growing my Equinox Beard.

But is this to raise money for charity or to raise awareness of men's health issues including prostate or testicular cancer or is it just for shits and giggles and you think it's cool and thus totally missing the point of Movember.

Some friends of mine did this last year, which was the first I had heard of it. Even though moustaches aren't really my thing (I'm more of a beardy/goatee type), I'm on board this year.

Plus it's a reminder to actually try and get a little fitter and healthier this month, too.

I'm doing Novembeard, which is sponsored by a resource group at work. At the end of the month, coworkers will be able to pay for tickets to vote on the most creative beard, most santa-like beard, most homeless-like beard, "best effort", etc. This way, we raise money for charity.

I've been doing "facial hair February" since college.

^ Also participating in NoShavEmber just because...however I also went without shaving during October due to superstition and the Giants making it to the postseason. And hey...it's only crazy if it doesn't work.

It's not like I'll go all the way. I support the guys who do, but I just can not go without my beard. The last few days have made that abundantly clear.
