There have been some really good 'guest characters' in the various STAR TREK TV shows...was there ever a guest character who you thought was deserving of a Spinoff? As we all know, Gary-7 was headed that direction. But what about Kurn? I thought his life would have made a great spinoff.
Or even Moriarty..living out his life in the program they 'trapped in'. And then, on the last episode, he realizes its all been a lie and swears revenge on Picard...

There are so many others...A modern day Harry Mudd spinoff??? How about the Temporal dudes who came to investigate Sisko's "Trials and Tribulations"

Any ideas???

ro laren would have made a good spin off,
would be interesting to have seen how she survived the dominion war (if she did)
maybe the romulan donatra (Sp?) seeing how she persuades the romulan senate to back a peace offering to the federation would be interesting too.
or maybe to see Odo and his coping with the link.
yet again perhaps the main one I'd like to see though he's not really a guest character wold be Spock, his role with unification and the post war romulan state.

Thomas Riker, who I found more interesting that Wil Riker, would have made a great star of his own show with all that angst inside of him...

Riley on TOS made a huge impression with me. I would have loved to see him on a new assignment/ tv show.

It would have completely changed the history of Star Trek as we know it, but it would have been interesting to see a spinoff about Khan, and how they built a world on Ceti Alpha 5.

Any character played by Vaughn Armstrong. He's my favorite actor of all time.

Example: An Admiral Forrest series. Sorta like a Starfleet version of The West Wing. (Hey, Forrest is one of the few absolutely sane and decent Admirals we have ever had! Can't go wrong with that! )

Ro WAS going to be spun off...to DS9...until Michelle Forbes turned down the role. That was when they brought in Nana Visitor and Kira Nerys was born.

I always felt Harry Mudd deserved his own series. Con man of the galaxy.
Also Llaxanna Troi, maybe.

After Star Trek VI I would totally have watched a series featuring the further adventures of the USS Excelsior under the command of Captain Sulu. That would have rocked!
