Group Think: The Prime Directive
I actually got this idea from a game website that I still visit even though I haven't played the game in years. It was a football text sim and what it involved was passing around the games save file for different people to play certain parts...
What I envision is a group fanfic that focused on the Prime Directive. The group would outline the story with a compelling Prime Directive dilemma for one of the canon crews (which wouldn't matter to me as I'm pretty familiar with them all) with an imperfect solution.
I chose the Prime Directive because it seems to be one of the more hotly debated components of the ST universe and a canon crew because they're characters all the writers would be at least passingly familiar with.
All discussions would take place in this thread and when the story was ready we can post it to a separate thread...
