One of the appeals of the Grindhouse double feature film was the trailers during intermission between Planet Terror and Death Proof. That completely sold it for me. But since the DVD release was split in two different DVDs, I was wondering if they were included. I know the Machete trailer was included on Panet Terror, and I was hoping the others were included on the Death Proof DVD. But it seems it isn't. Does anyone know if it is in there like an Easter Egg or something, or just not included?

Nope, the extra trailers are not on either of the DVDs. Rumor has it that Tarantino and Rodriguez plan to eventually release a combined DVD set, with both films and all the trailers. Even hear Rodriguez intends to add another cooking school segment (for the BBQ from Planet Terror) to the special features.
The exclusion of the trailers from the DVDs was a crime. They were incredibly great, arguably as good as the two features (some would argue even moreso ... )

Thankfully a local theater will be screening all of Grindhouse in a few weeks here as a midnight show!
I was thinking about waiting till it was showing at the Dollar theatre, so I could see it in an actual Grindhouse.
