Grimm Season 3

JD

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Since season 3 starts Friday, I thought I'd go ahead and start up the thread for it.
We'll apparently come right back where we left off with Nick a zombie, and the others being attack.
Here's a sneek peek:

I also stumbled across a couple of new original tie-in novles while looking around on Barnes & Noble last week.
The Icy Touch
The Chopping Block

I really like this show. It doesn't take itself too seriously, but still manages to be suspenseful and engaging.

Well, I'd love to enjoy season 3, but those cunts at Watch here in the UK (who air the show here) have put the airdate back from "autumn 2013" to "early 2014".

Like nobody's just going to torrent the fucker as long as it isn't being aired by a fucking *real* channel.

Obviously the endless repeats of Masterchef Australia are *so* important to a modern drama audience.

Tonight's the night!
I just stumbled across the complete Meltdown web series while looking around on the Grimm Youtube page.
It follow Bud, Hank, and Wu at the same time as the rest of the characters were at the shipyard.

Have we not been posting at all since the season started? I swore we had been, but nothing else came up in the search.

Anyways, the actress who played the Niad Ellie in tonight's episode is really deaf.
Here's an article all about her from People.com.

I'm a big supporter of equality and respect for people with disabilities, so I love it when stuff when stuff like this happens.

I'd rather Wu find out about the Wesen first.

I found this week's episode to be a little boring. I'm guessing that the email Juliette read from M. is Nick's mom.

Yeah. It took me a second to realize it was his mother. Definitely agree that I do not want a jealous girlfriend storyline.
Did Renard not know Adalind was pregnant? I swore she told him, or he found out somewhere before this one.
So does this mean that mermaid/water beings are going to be the next big thing now? Grimm and Once Upon A Time have both done storylines with mermaids/water beings in the last couple weeks.

The only thing that really made this episode at all noteworthy for me was the inclusion of Stephanie Nogueras.

Man, they're really dragging the Adalind and the baby story out way too long just like they did last season with Juliette's amnesia. I wish they'd learn to move some of these arcs a little faster.

Well, she's pregnant. 9 months have to pass, so you have a few choices:

1 Time jump. Which does a real disservice to all the other characters.
2. Drop Adalind's story for a certain amount of episodes that seems plausible
3. Miracle birth in less than 9 months
4. Miscarriage
5. Play it out as they have been.

Usually show's handle it story wise using #1 between seasons, but this season was a cliffhanger from last season, so that was out. It also would make us miss out on some of the core time of the show which banks on Nick's still overall naivety to being a Grimm.
