Grimm Episode 1 “Pilot” Official Description
INSPIRED BY THE CLASSIC GRIMM FAIRY TALES---NICK BURKHARDT'S LIFE IS TURNED UPSIDE DOWN WHEN HIS FAMILY'S LEGACY IS REVEALED---KATE BURTON GUEST STARS---After the mysterious brutal attack of a local college co-ed, Portland homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) discovered he is descendant of an elite line of criminal profilers known as "Grimms," charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. As he tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from his fiancé, Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), and his partner, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), he becomes ever more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world. With help from his reluctant confidant, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), a reformed Grimm creature himself, Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology. Reggie Lee and Sasha Roiz also star.

I just got finished watching the pilot. Even watching the trailer before and not being to high on it...I was glad I watched the entire pilot.

I give it an A.
It was interesting and kept my interests...the end had a twist. They did a good job of being creepy and maybe too good...parts were cheesy and slow...but over all it was a good pilot and I can't wait to see more eps.

The preview looks decent. It will be interesting to see if they can maintain the feel of the Grimm tales in a modern context.

I'm a big fan of these kinds of shows, so I'm really looking forward to this one.

I've got too much on my plate as is, plus I've got Supernatural and Fringe on Fridays, so I might have to catch this On Demand. After watching the trailer again, I'm convinced that the main actor is the lovechild of Ben Stiller and Brandon Routh.:p

The lead looks like Brandon Routh and the show looks like Supernatural. I'll check out, but I don't see myself getting into it and I have a feeling that it'll end up like The Cape.

I think Grimm's biggest problem is that it is scheduled up against Supernatural and Fringe. It's biggest potential viewer base is already committed to one, if not both of those other shows.

My TiVo only has two tuners, so the only way I will be able to see Grimm is online.

Damn, I didn't realize it was against Fringe and Supernatural, guess I'll be watching on Hulu.
Edit: I just noticed that this and Chuck will be the only shows I'm watching on NBC this season.

star wars the clone wars on cartoon network
supernatural on cw

There's no way I have time to watch this early the way things are going these days-- in fact, probably the only way I'll be able to see it is if it's up on On Demand.
