What song titles do you love, regardless of how much you may like the song?
My list (with explanations):
Beck, Satan Gave Me a Taco--because the idea of Satan setting his standards so low makes me laugh.
The New Pornographers, Sing Me Spanish Techno--because it's such a reasonable request.
Radiohead, Idioteque--because I see what they did there.
Fruit Bats, The Wind That Blew My Heart Away--because I'm allowed to be sentimental now and again, dagnabbit.
Barenaked Ladies, Tonight is the Night I Fell Asleep at the Wheel--because irresponsibility is awesome. Just not in real life.
David Bowie, Rock & Roll Suicide--because plain old suicide is simply not musical enough.
The Dears, End of a Hollywood Bedtime Story--because, aside from ascribing a certain fantastic and fatalistic quality to the idea of living in Hollywood that strikes me as fascinating, it makes me picture a father telling a young child a story about hookers doing blow in spacious mansions.
The Decemberists, My Mother Was a Chinese Trapeze Artist--because it's so much like my life.
The Tragically Hip, Impossibilium--because making up words is stuponfucious.
