GRAIL Naming Contest Winner

NASA has announced the winners for the GRAIL (Gravity Recovery And Interior Laboratory) naming contest:

They're going to be called "Ebb" and "Flow". I'm not too crazy about the names personally, but the winner was interesting to us Trekkies. The winning suggestions came from the fourth grade class of Nina DiMauro at the Emily Dickinson Elementary School in Bozeman, Montana.

I'm glad that NASA sponsors things like these contests in order to garner young people's interest in the space program.

It's too bad that we can't have a contest to name the newest manned American spacecraft
