I didn't see a review thread for this yet. Any opinions? I saw this today with hubby; it was a fun little movie--not nearly as entertaining as the original but still worth a few laughs. It's mindless (brainless?) fun but nothing else. I think the biggest laughs for me came after the film, with the Bill Murray extras that bookend all of the end credits.

I found the "dumb-blonde" character rather unnecessary, but really, since the character exists only to be the source for the "idiot" jokes, I guess she served her purpose. The labels for the different types of zombies, the trip to Graceland, the oddly similar survivors...it adds to a few grins and giggles. I think that, if you liked "Zombieland", you'll also like the sequel, just not as much. I give a B.

Saw it last weekend. I thought it was a lot of fun, though it's been a long while since I've watched the first. (Got to dig it out again)

I felt that the Madison character was a bit overdone though given some of the other survivors, you do have to wonder how some of them made it that far (still, comedy so...):D

Fun movie, though I found most of the laughs to be "front-loaded" meaning they were largely in the first half of the movie, but the whole movie was still enjoyable regardless.

One minor quibble, they make a few references to the David Gray song Babylon, citing it as the namesake for the Babylon outpost, but they never play the song in the movie. I'm guessing they weren't able to secure the rights, but it was annoying all the same.

Eh, I find the fact that there's still running electricity a decade after the apocalypse rather far-fetched, and the excuse they provide really doesn't hold up. But as you say, comedy, just roll with it.
