Heroes-C
LOST-A+
Bones-C+
Kings-B
Medium-A-
Primeval-B
In Plain Sight-B

everything else ended, was canceled or is on hiatus

Supernatural - A (I'm surprised how solid the show was this year)
30 Rock - A (Constantly hilarious)
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - B+ (Not their best, but damn good)
Party Down - B+ (I am loving this show)
Lost - B (The 1977 stuff was underwhelming)
Eastbound and Down - B (Looking forward to more)
Battlestar Galactica - B- (I'll always have fond memories of this show, but it was time to end)
24 - C (Guilty pleasure)

The Big Bang Theory = A (so dam funny)

House = A- (This show doesn't know the meaning of a bad season)

Heroes = C+ (dumb plot devices and despite a stronger 2nd half plot, it was all ruined by that god dam fucking awful season finale)

24 = A- (great return for the old show but the kim plot at end stops it from getting an A...she is not needed for the show nor wanted by the fans.

Kyle XY = B+ (A nice silly family show that deserved a final season)

Scrubs = A- (Back to basics worked a charm and a nice season followed up by a wonderful finale and the final 10 minutes was some of the best wrap up TV you will ever see....ABC let it die that beautiful death)

Knight Rider = B- (first 15 minutes of the pilot doomed it and the first half of the season didn't help but if the show had begun like it ended then we would be seeing a 2nd season)

LOST = A- (I don't know what is happening but I don't care I love it)

Bones = B (Cracks starting to appear in the show, while still funny and enjoys great cast chemistry, the 4 year old show is getting a little OTT big time and suffered a weak season finale)

Dollhouse = B+ (Only one bad episode IMO and a nice end to season, so much better when FOX left Whedon to do his stuff)

BSG = A- (Good wrap up to the 5 year old series and nailed it with the series finale)

SG Atlantis = B (A nice season I thought and a fine series finale but plots left open stops a higher grade, deserved a final season)

Famly Guy = C+ (A real hit n miss season and I may stop watching soon regulary and only bother to watch episodes that sound funny)

American Dad = B (The best animated show on the air...deserves better ratings)

Californication = A- (Charming, witty and so outlandish at times you have to love it)

Dexter = A+ (One of best shows on the air and I loved Jimmy Smits playing the Dexter's new dodgy friend.)

Boston Legal = A+ (Join's Dexter as best of the TV season, went out on a real high with a wonderful 13 episode 5th season...Series Finale and last scene was pure brilliance by David Kelly)

Why is it that the shows I really love get canceled?

Battlestar Galactica- A+Why is it that the shows I really love get canceled?

Because life is a bitch....no wait this from Bill O Reilly "network execs are pinheads"

well that explains a lot then, like the CW.

Battlestar Galactica- A+ (pretty much perfect barring "Deadlock")
The Shield- A+ (pretty much perfect)
LOST- A- (great but "He's Our You" and "Whatever Happened, Happened" brought it down a notch)
Fringe- A- (a very impressive first season effort and thus the high grade even though it had a few missteps)
NCIS- B+ (good season but not as strong as I hoped after the fantastic fifth season)
House- B (stellar second half but a very lackluster first half)
Supernatural- A- (great season, its best yet)
Damages- C+ (had some great moments but dissapointing overall)
Burn Notice- B+ (solid season even if it goes into light fare a little too often)
Brotherhood- A (most likely its last season but it sure went out with a heck of a bang)
The Tudors- B+ (not quite as good as last season due to a weaker second half but good stuff nonetheless)

I forgot three others...

BATMAN; Brave and the Bold....A+
Sarah Conner...C-
America's Funniest Videos (guilty pleasure) A+

Rob scorpio

Boston Legal: B or B+ (But that's just because ABC didn't give them any money, and all the characters I liked were fired the season before.)
American Idol: B-
Bones: C- or D+
House: D+ (The season was really bad right until the end)
Battlestar Galactica: D- (Wasted the last 5-6 episodes going no where!)
Lost: C (The show also went no where after the first couple episodes, and everyone acted really stupid. I got the point it was 1977, can you get to the climax of the season already? Oh... that's your climax.... sheesh.... it's like dating someone for a while only to see them naked for the first time and you are disgusted by them.)

Heroes: D
Dollhouse: C
LOST: A-
Fringe: B+
Dexter (Season 2 DVD): A
30 Rock: B
Better of Ted: C+

Lost--A--My favorite show in the last several years. Great twists, excellent cliffhangers, inventive intriguing mysteries. The way that it is assembled is awe-inspiring. Not one bad episode in the bunch.

Desperate Housewives--C-.

Heroes C-. Not bad but decidedly mediocre. Some decent ideas but not executed or mined that well. It became all too clear this season that the characters only were as interesting as they were in great part because of the arc that were a part of in season one. And despite the much heralded return of Fuller the show only slightly improved. I doubt I'll watch it next season.

Mentalist-B Formulaic but the characters are great.

Reaper-B Fun consistently enjoyable show too bad it was canned.

Fringe--1st half of season C second half B+

Supernatural-B probably its best season but still had a problem being consistent especially in the first half of the season where it had the problem of one good episode followed by a middling one.

Damages--C I wasn't that impressed by this season. Unlike, Lost or the show's first season not all the threads worked or came together in a satisfying way. Danson should have been written out and Marcia Gay Harden was criminally underused.

Prison Break A-. Probably my second most enjoyable show of the season behind Lost. The first fifteen episodes were one big enjoyable romp with lots of satisfying and unexpected twists & turns. The last 7 were not as strong and you could tell they were probably just filling out the 22 episode season and while I thought they could have done some things better especially the anti-climatic way the Company was brought down and the fact that it was too bad we didn't see more of Christina Scofield I thought the final scenes were perfect.

SCC-B+ A show that definitely had a slow burn. For a large part of the season we were continuously introduced to a whole variety of pieces of the puzzle that you didn't quite see how they could be related but ultimately the writers paid them off in an excellent way and the final 5 or six episodes of the season were the best all being outstanding. Too bad the show was canned.

Chuck-B+ A fun lightweight series I couldn't be happier that the show is being renewed.

I almost forgot BSG--B-. A rather underwhelming season except for Sometimes a Great Notion, Nop Exit, The Oath and the excellent two hour finale. It was pretty clear the writers had run out of ideas and were dragging things out. I didn't particularly care how a lot of the latter episodes kept repeating certain elements and not progressing them. I also didn't care much for almost all the plot threads played off-Baltar's cult was a waste, Ellen was not used that well after No Exit etc. Now compare this to the way Lost never wastes an episode and covers so much ground in every episode. Heck, Lost did an excellent job in setting what is essentially an extended season 5(this year and next in my mind is one big season) by using this last year to put the final pieces into place as we head into the final half season next year. They crammed like there was no tomorrow. BSG just puttered to the finish.

Heroes: D
Dollhouse: C
LOST: A-
Fringe: B+
Dexter (Season 2 DVD): A
30 Rock: B
Better of Ted: C+

I liked your list..though, just as with some of the others, I am seeing shows listed I have never heard of. What is Better of Ted???

It's a typo on my part for starters. It's "Better off Ted". It is a sitcom which takes place in the R&D department of a huge, soulless and completely unethical mega corporation. It leans toward the surreal and avoids anything like real world office situations. When it's funny, it's very funny, when it is not, it falls flat - face down.

Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles: A
Dhani Tackles the Globe: A
The Biggest Loser: A-
The Office: B+
30 Rock: B+
Dollhouse: B
Parks and Recreation: B
Battlestar Galactica: B-
Doing DaVinci: C+
Heroes: D

Here's what I can remember watching in the past year...

Lost - A-: Still excellent and we learned a lot of the mythology of the island, but something just felt missing much of the year. I'm ready for it to end.

Dexter - A: Jimmy Smits was brilliant, and the season built up steadily. Unfortunately the last episode and a half were hugely anticlimactic. Still excited for S4 though. And I know she polarizes people, but I still believe Jennifer Carpenter (Deb) is about the best actress on television.

The Office - A-: The best season since S2. The Michael Scott Paper Company arc late in the season was great stuff. The characters are a perfect balance between reality and cartoon.

30 Rock - B: Still funny, but too much stunt casting.

Parks and Recreation - B-: Not yet great, but I feel it'll grow into itself better in the second season.

Damages - C: A letdown after a stellar first season. Seemed too unfocused, and I'd like at least one person on this show without a hidden agenda. Glenn Close is still wonderful, though. Will give S3 a chance.

Boston Legal - A-: I only started watching this season and am now catching up on back seasons, but I'm glad I did. Some brilliant stuff.

Pushing Daisies - A: Except for the awful season premiere, it was 12 brilliant episodes of one of the most unique, charming and brilliantly witty shows I've ever seen. I will definitely miss it.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - C+: By far their worst season. The humour's gone overly juvenile. Still some good episodes though.

Desperate Housewives - B: Will never match the first season again, but continues to entertain, even if the "mystery" this season was a snooze, and they killed off easily one of the best characters.

Survivor - A-: Two good seasons this year, with memorable personalities.

Heroes - C-: I give up.

Grey's Anatomy - C-: An improvement over S3 and S4, but at this point I only watch it occasionally for a laugh at the lame writing and melodrama.

The Simpsons - B+: This season seemed to regain some of the heart and humanity that had been missing in the last...uhh, decade or so.

Family Guy - C: Sigh. Sometimes brilliant, sometimes painfully bad.

American Dad - A: I like it more the more I watch it. Can get quite repetitive though.

South Park - B+: As always, hit or miss. Seemed to be a few more hits and misses so far this season though.

Saturday Night Live - B-: Also, as always, hit or miss. Some classic episodes, some awful. More and more impressed with Fred Armisen and Bill Hader, but increasingly tired of Kristen Wiig's antics, who I adored just a year ago.
