kept seeing this concept art for the game's crew quarters online:

not sure this was even used, but looks good to me.
Here are Spock's quarters:

Seeing as I quit the game after the first two levels out of boredom and tedium, and I actually love Star Trek Into Darkness more than all the other movies, I'm going to have to go for Into Darkness :)

The game was such a disappointment. I still hold out hope for a great Star Trek video game some day. Hopefully an open-world affair that takes advantage of the tapestry of all the series.

any other rooms you want to show us?
Engineering is really strange, and totally unlike the beer brewery or NIF target chamber locations used in Star Trek or Into Darkness.

The water pipe/blender part of the brewery does appear later on, and the shuttlebay looks amazing, and just like the '09 movie version.

given the cavernous nature of the secondary hull and the fact that large sections of it appear to be devoted to open machinery, i can buy this as just another part of that.

but what is that puppy doing on the bottom right hand side of the screen?

That is a ferocious Gorn trooper from another galaxy and he wants to eat you and everyone you care about. In the mission you have to protect Keenser while he "lowers the warp cores" whatever that means.

Well we know how Nichols Meyer would vote lol

Never could get past the ship battle between E n Gorn ship, always got butt kicked. Quit

I like it. It reminds me of some of the concept art for ST09, and also how STB suggested the brewery in their matte paintings of engineering while making the whole arrangement more technological.

I know this game gets shit on, but I played and enjoyed it. The big shame is the Abrams movies never felt like they did any world building. Everything is on the Enterprise or on Earth until Beyond. And even Beyond feels "small." This game actually expanded the universe quite well, got to see alot of interesting things.

The production design of this game was also spectacular.

Uh...there was...
Vulcan
Kronos
Narada
Delta Vega

I admit that's not a lot, but it's not exactly "Everything is on the Enterprise or Eath" either...

I don't play video games, but I always thought the redesign for the Gorn looked cool. I would've been fine with using this story for the sequel to the 2009 film. Into Darkness could've been the third film, and still came out in 2013, with this film coming out in 2011. I would've changed the name of the villain species though, or explained that they are of an offshoot of our galaxy's Gorn.
