Google Android powered hotel tv set to hit market...

Well, it's an interesting idea. I'll be honest though, as big of a google and tv fan I am, I don't really see the need for merging the two together. If I really wanted to do all of this stuff on my TV, I would just plug my computer to my TV

Well, this particular model is geared toward the hotel market, but it offers an early look at what googletv may offer.

What I find most interesting is that it is being provided by a start-up company. I may have to put Lava on my too watch list if they continue to innovate like this

Since Google-TV's would have cameras on them likely, they could be used to spy on people while they watch TV. I don't know about you, but I want to watch my TV; don't want my TV to watch me.

BTW: Also since Google has never deleted a search-query, and is known to store enormous amounts of data on people, and since there was plans to work with the NSA, wouldn't it be highly likely that all the TV-channels every single user watches could be used for datamining purposes? I'm not just talking about knowing what channel a person watches for determining demographics, but determining political views and such. Especially if the Google-Android TV would have a camera, it could tell if a person was watching or it was just left on when nobody was home.
