good luck az cardinals

I have no idea. I think it had something to do with my attraction to the color red as a little kid: I picked up the Cardinals in pro football, Florida State in college football, St. John's in college basketball ...

Noticing a pattern?

As to Rutgers ... I grew up in South Brunswick and South Plainfield, which border New Brunswick and Piscataway, respectively. I'm just thrilled we now have something for which to cheer.

^That's an awful strange looking Florida State av there...

trekkerguy, I think your daft with the Cards having a chance against NY, but to each their own.

People said something similar last year to those who dared to suggest the Giants had a chance against the at-the-time undefeated Patriots. I was one of the daring ones last year. It won me twenty bucks. ;)

Sure. But they have a far better chance with them than the Panthers.

Exactly. And I don't think I've celebrating something more in my life.

No matter who the Cardinals play next, it will be an upset if they win. However, upsets are entirely possible, even in the playoffs. If the Cardinals do get into the Super Bowl, I expect a multitude of ice-skating demon jokes from the media.

Well as a Pats fan, I have no major interest in any of the playoff teams, but I would not mind seeing the Cards win. I neither hate nor like them, and now that Peyton Manning is out of the playoffs, I have no one to root agains, cept maybe the other Manning brother.

They were commenting on the radio today that if the Eagles and the Cards win, the NFC Championship Game will be in Phoenix....

Unbelievable. Despite what many have said, I felt Carolina and Arizona were a pretty even match (if you pushed me I might have given the slightest advantage to Carolina). I felt Arizona had a chance for a modest win, but I did NOT expect them to blow Carolina out of the water. Nice one, Cards! :techman:

Hard to believe the Cardinals of all teams are going to play for the NFC Championship. Now it's time to cheer for the Eagles so we can have the game in Glendale and go to it.

Since the Colts didn't make it, AZ is who I have left to cheer for. I adore Kurt Warner and hope he gets to go to the Super Bowl. :):)

Looks like the Cards are 10 point favorites.

And we may have a new record for ticket sales. 20,000 tickets sold in 6 minutes yesterday.

Its especially an interesting swing of events since the NFL had to extend the deadline for selling out your WildCard round.

Seems the bandwagon is now fully loaded.

I find that unlikely.

When last I checked, the Eagles were favored by between 2 1/2 and 3 1/2—as well they should be, considering that they had stuffed Cardinal on Thanksgiving Day.

Hey, it's me, the Seahawks fan. Glad to see you're making the most out of that NFC West title you borrowed this year. Hope you keep it in good shape and go pick up a Lombardi trophy. We'll be wanting it back next year though. :)

Seriously though, I am rooting for Arizona. I've always liked Kurt Warner (he rocked on my fantasy team this year!) and I like what Whisenhunt has done with the program. Beating Carolina on the road was the toughest thing to do - with that out of the way, I think the Cardinals can win it all.

That's not surprising: People are inclined to want what they cannot possibly have. Your Seahawks are done for years, dude. It's Arizona's division now. Get used to looking up at the little birdie.

Time will tell. Frankly, if everyone remaining in the tournament brings their "A" game the rest of the way, Arizona hoists the trophy. :techman:
