Gone, but not Forgotten...

Data - but only TV-Data, since they botched his development in the movies and not only his death...

K'Ehleyr - she just had good chemistry with Worf, something all his other love interests hadn't.

Ziyal - actually, I miss her (or regret her death) because of the influence she had on Dukat...

Definitely Data. I keep holding out a bit of hope that he might still show up in the novels.. I read them all. Not B4 or B9 or whatever the "other" Data is called.. I want the real Data back!!

This was robot B9:

K'Ehlyr, whose name I can never figger out if I'm spelling right.

Suzi Plakson was freakin gorgeous, even with the stupid forehead on, and the character was a wonderful addition to the storyline. She should have been a frequently recurring guest, not a motivational corpse.

Totally in agrrreement.

Sito Jaxa. She would have made a great carry-over to Voyagar, perhaps as an alternative to Harry Kim.

Gary Mitchell, Jadzia Dax, and Elizabeth Dehner. Elizabeth Dehner would have been a great 1st ship's counselor in Kirk's era.

Not to sure if this counts because there is some debate as to whether or not he died. But after all being a HUGE DS9 fan and watching the show until my DVD case are completely torn apart. Some say he didn't die, I wish he hadn't but lets face it The shows executive producer Behr stated he killed him and made him a god
So I vote for.....

Capt.Ben Sisko

All the deaths for the most part especially those of characters we knew for a few years touched us in some way, while we may not like them they do make for great story...or at least a lively debate on how they messed up:)

Jadzia. She and Worf were so happy together. Made me feel sorry for ol' Work when she died. And she was such a likeable character.

<------------ Poor Kelso. He never saw it coming.

Gary Seven, Roberta Lincoln and Isis. I still think the "Assignment Earth" concept has great potential.

No kidding. If CBS wants an inexpensive way to bring back Trek, A:E is the way to go.

BTW, FTP, where did that surfer-dude in your avatar come from?

Most powerful death? Spock. Sure, they brought him back, but it was the most powerful death in all Trek.

As for most shocking; Ziyal. Most Trek deaths you can either see coming or were spoiled to me in some way, but Ziyal was truly a shocker. So much was going on in that episode that I was not expecting them to throw that curve-ball in at the end. And I love the little moment of Garak standing over her body.
