Obama might not be so eager to finance it, the article says - but I say we should help NASA out here in Europe, and perhaps Asia and Russia as well. ESA (European Space Agency) has a lot of experience in putting satelites in orbit (not very impressive perhaps, but we build our own rockets), the chinese have put some people in orbit, and Russia knows a lot about space-stations. Everyone should join

I liked the pictures a lot as well (click on the gallery link at the bottom) I wonder if they will go for a permanent base, or a mobile one. The mobile one will be more weight for less housing, so I think they will end up with a stationary base with a car or two.
