It seems you cant go one day with out reading a REAL news story about scientist wanting to create 'new' types of animal. A fish that glows in the dark, Cats with glow in the dark fur, maggots that can spin webs for surgery. On and on it goes.

If you were a mad scientist and could combine any two species from any STAR TREK series/movie, what would they be and why? What traits would you be trying to favor in your new hybrid-creation!

I'd splice genes from Kirk, Picard, and the Sisco together to form the SUPERCAPTAIN!

This would solve any of those pesky "whose the best" debates.

Unfortunately, (since we are mad scientists) SUPERCAPTAIN would be given rediculously bad orders from the new admiral in starfleet. Who is the new Admiral? Why the love-child of Janeway and Archer of course!!!
