Glee 2.02 - "Brittany/Britney" promo clip

Glee does Britney Spears, in an episode that I'm amazed I'm anticipating as much as I am, since I'm noncommital on Britney's music. But she's got a ton of great iconography, and that's the sort of thing Glee knows how to use really well.

In what I expect to be the centrepiece of the episode, two of the best characters on the show do Me Against The Music.

That Naya Rivera can sing that well is no surprise, but this is Heather Morris' first time singing; and she's pretty good, in addition to being a phenomenal dancer (only Harry Shum, Jr./Mike can keep up with her).

This episode has me awfully excited. Not because it's Britney Spears (I actually don't like Spears all that much other than the very beginning), but because Heather Morris finally get's a chance to shine. Based on this clip, we're going to get some great chemistry between Santana and Brittney and I think it's just going to be fantastic. Can't wait.
