Girl from UNCLE coming to TV - US only

EDIT: ARGH! I wish we could change headers. Of course I meant to type DVD in the subject field. If a mod is able to make that change, please do!

Good news, bad news: the Warner Archive "manufacture on demand" service is releasing the complete The Girl from UNCLE to DVD in two volumes next week.

The bad news (well, for some) is that Warner Archive doesn't ship out of the US (which was a pain for those of us wanting Man from Atlantis a few months back). Apparently Amazon is working out something but god knows when that'll be.

Still, for those with the acceptable GPS coordinates:

I'm not sure what to think about this MOD idea. Forgetting the shipping issue, these appear to be more expensive than regular releases and I honestly don't see the logic in some of their choices for release in this fashion rather than just putting them out for "regular" prices at retail. In my opinion something like Girl from UNCLE or Man from Atlantis has just as much a chance of selling at regular retail than other TV shows I've seen widely available at Best Buy and Wal-Mart, like the 1950s Dennis the Menace, Daniel Boone, and definitely Wait Till Your Father Gets Home which seemed to be available everywhere, yet odds are 99% of the people reading this will probably need to go to Wikipedia to find out what that's all about.
