Ghosterbusters: The Video Game (PC) worth it?

Steam has Ghostbusters: The Video Game PC version on sale for $9.99 for the next 22 hours. Was this game good? Is it worth it for $9.99?

I had the 360 version. It was really awesome. I don't know how different (if it all) it is from the 360 version, but I thought it was an awesome game. One of the best I've played in recent months.

For $9.99? Go for it!

For $10 bucks, that's a pretty good deal. I thought the game was pretty solid. It was fun, but some parts just seemed to go on for too long. Personally, I think the thing that puts the game over being just a moderately entertaining third-person game is the Ghostbusters brand. I don't think I'd have stuck with it so long if it didn't have that cast and those writers, because they did a really good job capturing that universe and having those voices back is a blast.

As others have said, hell yes. Get it. :techman: Of course, you should first make sure your PC is good enough. Go here for the PC requirements.

It's pretty much the same. The only real difference is that the PC version doesn't have multiplayer. But then the multiplayer isn't all that great to begin with.

Did anyone else think the final battle with the library ghost to be unbelievably annoying, or was it just me?

Defiantly a solid game mind, there are just a few rather irritating flaws. Perhaps the inevitable sequel will correct them.

I hope your lucky enough that it runs on your pc.
This game was a bad port from the 360 and it shows. The controls are sloppy and the game is buggy. There is no support for the pc version as well as no multiplayer.

I thought the game was pretty meh really. In fact if it wasn't for the Ghostbusters license on it, I would have considered it rather dire.

Still, for 10 bucks you can't really complain. I say go for it.

For me, it put me into the Ghostbuster experience...particularly with catching and trapping ghosts. The graphics were great and the story tied into the previous 2 movies. The original cast came back. I really enjoyed it.

This.

I rented it, so I only had time for one playthrough, but I enjoyed it immensely. I plan on picking up a pre-owned copy in January, cause I'd like to get all the trophies I missed the first time, and I wouldn't mind having a bash at the multiplayer.
