GFX Card recommendation?

Seeing as we have a veritable brain trust of PC and game related knowledge here I wonder could I fire off a question to our little community please?

I currently run an Nvidia GeForce 9800GT and have for the last 3 years or so. Great card, but lately I've suffered from the Nv4_disp.dll BSOD error and it looks like my card is dead/dying. I've tried software fixes, replacing drivers etc but nothing on the conventional list of fixes works.

So, I have about £100 quid to replace my GFX card. I'm tempted to go to the AMD side due to the problems with Nvidia. I run two Sony Monitors from it; both only have DVI/VGA inputs (thought its easy to convert DP to DVI with a converter).

Is there a card anyone has had good experiences with? Am looking for a possible recommendation :)

Thanks in advance guys

My last card was also a nvidia 9800 (though gtx if I remember correctly) and that died on me too.

I replaced it with one of the XFX versions of the ATI Radeon HD5850's and it's done the job required so far. It has two DVI ports so that side will do. It's not the newest or most powerful so there may be better options depending on what your looking for.

For my usage, I only use one of the outputs at 1920*1080 and it suits me.

(Sorry - missed the price thing on the first read. The 5750 may pass muster though)

Well, the GTX 650 Ti is apparently in your price range (going by USD conversion) and apparently has better performance than the 560 Ti (I've currently got a 448 core in my gaming rig, so I don't know if it's better than that) and is $50 cheaper, which is kind of irritating for me. If I had known it was coming, I might have held out for it when building my rig.
