This sounds like Quarantine (2008) meets Die Hard (1988).

According the the Film Catalogue sales release, the generic title Infected is (hopefully) subject to change. Wouldn't be the first time the title has been changed since it was previously known as The Terror Experiment and Fight or Flight.
