I was looking at yourtv.com.au, for any specials for LOST here in Australia, and found this:-

It's no surprise that legendary sci-fi creator George Lucas is a fan of legendary sci-fi TV drama Lost.

At a special event in Los Angeles commemorating Lost's upcoming finale, Lucas sent in a letter to the show's executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse praising their success.

"Don't tell anyone, but when Star Wars first came out, I didn't know where it was going either. The trick is to pretend you've planned the whole thing out in advance."
Millions of fans just went insane.

The real trick, George, is being a good enough writer that you can write on the fly and still make it look like you had it planned, more or less. ;)

I wouldn't mind if Lucas wanted to hire the Lost writers for his planned live-action Star Wars series. Those guys need something new and exciting to work on, and I'd hate to see Star Wars continue to flounder with crappy writing. A few of the Lost actors could work well in the Star Wars universe, too. Terry O'Quinn, Michael Emerson, Nestor Carbonnel, Ken Leung, Naveen Andrews and Josh Holloway all seem like they would fit in well.

Yunjin Kim as a Dark Lady of the Sith, FTW. :bolian:

Better: Yunjin Kim AND Emilie de Ravin as Dark Ladies of the Sith.
