Let me preface this by saying, this is a work in progress. The middle section is not quite done (thinking about using some video of Robert and Rene from the episode 'Family'), the sound needs to be mixed, and I need to put title cards in a couple places. But I think it's complete enough to get some feedback, and ANY (warts and all) is appreciated.

SYNOPSIS: Picard's family is killed in a fire on Earth, and now Picard turns to a man with visions of a place free of time and death. The price: Picard must turn his back on everything he believes to reunite with his family. Nothing short of two generations must come together to stop Picard and Soran from destroying the galaxy. Or something.

It's a little weird to use so much material from movies that came out later than the film you're advertising. And some of the cuts are weird, like Picard smiling in the Nexus just after the Enterprise crashes and is destroyed.

But not too bad. I look forward to seeing the final version.

Thanks for the feedback! I admit, I was cheating with including footage from First Contact and Insurrection.

The shot of Picard smiling is to portray him as the villain (the premise of Generations in this trailer recut is intended to be totally different than the movie we got), and I wasn't sure that point was clear in the cut I have.

I think title cards and some smoothing of the middle section COULD make it more clear. I'm gonna keep working on it.
