Generations - Enterprise D evacuation question..

There is a complete set of blue prints for the Enterprise D -- does it indeed have a Sickbay, or medical adjunct in the stardrive section?

Not sure about blueprints, but the stardrive section had a sickbay or medical facility at least during The Arsenal of Freedom which reported to Ensign T'su that Doctor Crusher was going to be alright.

Like RedShirt, I always wondered why there were so many kids in the stardrive section during Generations.

has it ever been said where the creche and school rooms were aboard the Enterprise?

The location of child care is confirmed to be on Deck 14 by Keiko in Rascals. Additionally, in the same episode, Captain Picard identified their location on the computer terminal as being in the port forward quarter of the saucer section. This area was identified as "Classroom 7" by the computer terminal there, but later as "School room 8" by Captain Picard when he spoke with Riker later.

My guess is during an evacuation alert you go to a designated shelter. A core-breach scenario could play out with a severe blast of radiation to the underside of the saucer so anyone below a certain point would be evacuated to (say) Deck Six.

It was either that, or they were rushing back to their quarters to change back into their DS9 style uniforms, before they crashed. I think every member of the crew changed from their TNG to DS9 uniforms, and then back again, at least twice in Generations.

The "official" blueprints do indeed have medical facilities in the engineering hull.

Anyway, it makes sense that there would be a sickbay or something down there. Since the stardrive section is meant to go into dangerous situations after leaving the saucer behind, you'd think they'd have a place to look after injured people. They wouldn't make them wait until they met with the saucer again.
