Are you a little bit surprised that Gene didn't write more than 3 episodes for TNG and those were all on season 1? I wonder why he didn't write more episodes?
He has 12 writing credits for 3 seasons of TOS, which is a lot more than those 3 episodes which he wrote for TNG in 5 years when he was still with us.
