Much of it is how he got into acting and the beginning of his career. The Trek stuff comes about 40 minutes in. Some of the topics are lack of promotion by UPN (way to shoot yourself in the foot) and that ENT ratings were the same as DS9 and VOY.

Someone in another thread said ENT is not well-acted. With people like Connor, I don't know how anyone would say that.

It's kind of funny anyone would say that... outside of the DS9 cast, Enterprise was far and away the most talented cast of actors of the modern Trek shows. TNG had 3 solid actors... the rest, not so much. Voyager... again 3 solid actors, the rest kind of borderline. Meanwhile, I have a hard time thinking of a bad actor in ENTs cast. Even Montgomery and Park shined when they were given a chance to.

Bakula was awful in this series. He and his character were wooden. Archer should have been replaced by Trip as the captain.

I found that Bakula had the opposite problem: he often overacted when Archer got angry. And I don't like the hero worship of the show. We kept being told he was a good captain but the inconsistent writing didn't show it. The most glaring example of this is Twilight, which I enjoyed but to me, is not the masterpiece most people think it is. Would it really have been disaster if Archer wasn't captain? Ironically, Bakula was a good leader for the cast in real life. And I watched some of Quantum Leap (after ENT). He doesn't lack the skills. When Archer was good, he really shined. But from what we see in the show, Trip or T'Pol would have made better captains.

The other part of the podcast I found interesting was that the season 1 writing staff got fired. I believe there was an interview with one of those writers in ST magazine but that really didn't sink in until I listened to this. Connor said he really didn't know why they were fired but maybe that was a reason for the lack of consistency between seasons 1 and 2.

That writer I mentioned didn't watch any episodes between 1 and 4 until TATV (and his opinion about it matches everyone else). While he missed out on a lot of good stuff between seasons 3 and 4, I can't blame him.
