Game over, man. RIP Bill Paxton.

http://tvline.com/2017/02/26/bill-paxton-dies-dead-at-61/

Veteran actor Bill Paxton, best known to TV audiences as polygamist patriarch Bill Henrickson on HBO’s Big Love, died on Saturday due to complications from surgery. He was 61.

In a statement released to TMZ, Paxton’s family says that “it is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery,” and notes that his “passion for the arts was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth and tireless energy were undeniable.”

This sucks and talk about something being completely out of the blue, jeez :(

I remember first seeing Bill as Hudson in Aliens, which is one of my most favourite movies of all time, to more recently his role in several episodes of the 1st season of Agents of Shield. I think currently he was the main lead in the TV show "Training Day" so that's gone with him as well, you would assume. I am just looking through his movie career at the moment and I've seen him in so much like Terminator, Aliens, Predator 2, Apollo 13, Twister, Titanic, Vertical Limit, Thunderbirds to name a few.

I know it might be too late, but I hope the Academy can put them into the "In Memoriam" video though am sure he will be mentioned by name at some point.

:( R.I.P Bill

See you later Hudson. And thanks.

I just watched Weird Science a while ago for some reason. Not his best role, but still memorable. He'll be missed. One of the hardest working actors in the business.

Why is dead in quotes in the title?

So sad, part of me was always hoping for a sequel to Twister.

Recently watched him on the Aliens Blu-ray extras where he talked about Cameron getting him to run into a wall to check how sturdy the marine armour was.

Definitely seemed a great guy, and apparently was lined up to do a con I was hoping to get to so I would have finally got to meet the legend.

Too bad. I liked him in Titanic and Twister. He was also one of the street punks that was one of the Terminator's first kills in the first film of that series.

Didn't quite have the looks to be a star, but has an enviable body of work..and no one elseplayed a pile of crap with such pathos
