I voted Above Average after a few Excellents the last few weeks. This was a very good episode but the bar has been set so high now.

Highlights included the Hound/Beric fight (Rory McCann is brilliant in that role and Dormer is now growing on me in his role), the scene with Tywin putting his children in their places (the tables being turned on Cersei was particularly funny) and Jamie's reveal to Brienne about killing the mad king. As with last week, Coster-Waldau shone really brightly and totally nailed that scene, one of Jamie's best in the books.

And of course, there was Ygritte in the nuddy (but I'm pretty sure that Brienne had a bum double).

The fetuses in jars weren't in the books.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one, dark and political. Several scenes gave me the chills knowing what was to come.

thanks. Didn't think so.

Grandma tyrell is taking a big role and working well. Bigger than I expected from the books

^I suppose when you sign someone of the calibre of Diana Rigg, you want to make the most of her (rightly so and luckily for us viewers).

Another strong episode. I voted above average for this one. The opening duel was great. There were some moving Arya moments and the Jaime/Brienne bath scene was great. I was surprised the Brienne nudity was so coy given that Gwendoline Christie has posed buck naked. Rose Leslie is skinnier under all those layers than I thought she'd be. Emilia Clarke really rocks the fake languages. Shireen was endearing and her singing over the credits was haunting.

Edit to add: this episode drew 5.349 million viewers for its initial airing. To date every episode this season has set a new series high in the ratings. So far this season the show has averaged 13.4 million viewers per episode when repeats and HBO Go are factored in.
