Name reminds me a lot of Emperor Thrax, he was a insane pagan emperor, killed the first christian Roman emperor Alexander Severus (long before Constantine) because he had on occasioned followed his mothers advice, and wanted to pay off the Germans. Emperor Thrax was a giant in his era in terms of size. He declared himself Emperor, launched a invasion of Germany. The pagan roman senate freaked out over the destruction of the Severan Dynasty, and deified Alexander as a God (they clearly didn't grasp how Christianity worked as a religion) and started appointing anyone and everyone as emperor willing to counter the renegade Thrax. In the end, as Thrax marched towards Rome, several failed counters emperors later, Thrax's own troops killed him. Starwars gave him a very Greek yet Roman sounding name. He is basically a upsurper seeking power, which I don't think anyone ever holding the title Darth could look down upon as a positive, Sith like instinct. Emperor Thrax was as close to Sith that ancient Rome ever got. What does this mean for the first order? Is Thrax's invasion of unknowns in distant dark forests in Germany a analogy for the Imperial thrust into distant unknown territories?
